Our Organization

LYBSA began over 25 years ago by running boys baseball and girls softball leagues in Lyons, Colorado. Board members, family, businesses and community members volunteer their time and energy to make the programs work for Lyons young people from 5 to 19 years old.

LYBSA is a member of the Indian Peaks Girls Softball Association (IPGSA) league for girls games, and the 4 Star League for boys games.

The LYBSA is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization under the 501 (c) (3) code of the IRS. Our federal tax identification number is 30-0332183

Our Volunteers

LYBSA is a volunteer-driven organization and we owe our success to the enthusiasm, hard work and many hours put in by volunteers. Parents, family members, friends and players all pitch-in to make our leagues happen.

Volunteers add a bright, positive influence to the lives of our kids. If you’re interested in volunteering, we can use just about any kind of help you’re willing to offer, so please contact us. There’s lots to do, it’s fun, and so many kids and adults make great new friends! There’s nothing as satisfying as working with people who like to do great things for and with kids.
